Watch: Rashmika Mandanna serves some major fitness goals ahead of the festivities

The fitness game ace is none other than rashmika mandanna, this pre-Diwali weekend, while working out some legs with her trainer at the gym and core exercise. The Bye actor was seen training trainer Karan Sawhney in a post shared by the latter.

“@rashmika_mandanna and I deserve this coming Diwali weekend,” Sawhney said.

The video clip shows the duo working their core by balancing on the medicine ball with weights, resistance band-supported side planks and bicycle crunches.

Mandanna, who is a enthusiastic fitness enthusiast, takes her workouts seriously. On a previous occasion, the duo also played sports together.

Sawhney shared the post and captioned it, “Rashmika Mandanna and I kick off #legs #fitness #core #healthy.”

Why train the legs and core?

“Training your leg and core is important not just prior to the festivities, but throughout the year as the incidence of back pain and hip pain is reduced by training these muscles. With all the extra workload during festivities, training your core will keep your body strong and pain-free,” said Vinti Maheshwari, a remedial exercise specialist.

*Eat high fiber foods and choose a diet high in fiber, such as nuts, Brussels sprouts, fruits and vegetables. Fiber helps with digestion and in maintaining a healthy gut.

*Late-night meals are never the best option. Try to avoid snacks late at night to keep your digestive system healthy. But now that festival season is approaching, we tend to have some late-night light snacks with our family. Try to make these snack times healthy by adding roasted makhana or opting for a cup warm milk.
